:: Highly unusual baby Serapi featuring asymmetric weaving based on artistic merit as opposed to use of a naksha or design mapping. The design, we believe, is woven interpretations of shells. Although showing end loss, it is clear from the field stripe border that the rug is complete, simply showing loss to either end. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, blush, sky blue, beige, sand, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with isolated areas of foundation showing through and heavy tatter and end loss. Fully secured sides.
